This is another one of my favourite recipes from Jackie. Justin started making this for me back in college and it’s been a staple in our house ever since. When we are trying to be a bit more healthy we skip the package of Mr. Noodles.
Time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4-6
Ingredients:
For the salad:
- 1 package broccolislaw
- 1 package Mr. Noodle, preferably chicken, smashed into bits
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds or sunflower seeds
- 4 green onions, chopped
For the dressing:
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1/4 rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
Directions:
- In a large bowl, mix together the broccolislaw, chopped green onion, slivered almonds and smashed up Mr. Noodle.
- In a small mixing bowl, mix together the dressing ingredients. Add the Mr. Noodle flavour packet.
- Mix the small bowl into the big bowl and toss.
